Opening a business bank account is a crucial step in establishing your LLC, helping you manage finances, separate personal and business expenses, and build business credit.
The main thing you need to remember is that you’ll be receiving an invitation to finalize your application in the coming days or weeks—more info about this below. You must accept this invitation for your application to move forward. Don’t wait… your invitation link will expire.

If you opted in for a bank account application during your business consultation, you should receive an account invitation around the same time you receive your LLC documents. We wait until your documents are completed because we need your EIN to submit the application.
This invitation will come from [email protected] with the subject line "Accept PRIME's invite to Relay banking." If you have already received your LLC documents and are unable to find your invitation, make sure to check your spam/junk folder just in case!

Accepting the invitation will direct you to an account registration page, where you'll verify the information we provided Relay and create a password. Once that's complete, you'll just need to verify your identity by uploading your photo ID. In some cases, you may also be required to provide proof of address documentation.
Once this is done, you'll be able to see the status of your application(s). You'll be notified once your application has been processed.
Please note that PRIME is only able to help get your application started and your invitation sent. Once you've accepted your invitation, all support questions related to your business bank account (including questions about the status of your application) will need to be directed to Relay:

My application was approved... now what?
If your application is approved, you'll be able to access a dashboard using the account information you provided previously. This dashboard allows you to transfer money into the account, request debit cards, and set up multiple checking accounts if you so desire.
We suggest depositing some money right away and moving any recurring expenses (such as registered agent, relevant utilities, etc.) to your new account. This helps show legal business intent and sets you up to transact as soon as possible. Click here to learn more about this process.
Why was my application denied?
Unfortunately, we do not have visibility into Relay's application review process. We recommend contacting them directly using the contact information above. Be aware that they might not be able to share specifics about their vetting process either. Please note that PRIME is not able to submit a Relay application for international clients who do not have a physical address inside the United States.
