Setting up my branded domain and email (Google Workspace)

This article is about the steps to set up your branded domain and email product through Google Workspace.

Updated this week

As part of our Professional Registered Agent package, PRIME sets you up with a branded domain and email through Google Workspace to provide a reliable branded communication channel for your business.

Next Steps

Be aware that you will not receive any communication about your Google Workspace access for a few weeks after your purchase. We wait to begin this process until after your business name has been accepted by the state in which you're registering, just to avoid securing a domain that might be no longer applicable. Timelines for business name acceptance vary by state.

Once we secure your branded domain, there are just a few steps to finalize your Google Workspace account:

  • Step 1—Set up your password. Look for an email from [email protected] with the subject line "Google Workspace Admin User for [domain]." Click the “Reset Password” button to set up your login information. This link expires after 24 hours. If you miss the window, contact [email protected] to request a new one.

  • Step 2—Log into your Google Workspace dashboard. Look for an email from [email protected] with the subject line "Activate your new Google Workspace Business Starter for [domain]." Click the "Sign in" button and enter the login information you established in step 1. Accept the terms and conditions and then click "Get Started."

  • Step 3—Verify your domain. From your Admin Console, click “VERIFY DOMAIN.”

  • On the Welcome screen, click “Next.” Click out of the popup box, then click through to complete step 1 (“Protecting your domain.”)

Your Google Workspace should now be ready to use!

I need to select a domain host.

Not everyone will experience this, but if you’re taken to a page asking you to select a domain host, please follow these steps:

  • Select “My domain uses a different host” and click “Continue”

  • On the “Add Verification Code” page, ignore the form and instead click the check box in the banner at the bottom of the page that says “Come back here and confirm once you have updated the code on your domain host.”

This should fix your issue! If you have any further questions, contact [email protected].

My reset password link is not working/I'm getting an error message.

If you're having any issues with resetting your password or access your Google Workspace account, contact our support team:

I can’t find my reset password email.

Make sure to check your spam or junk folders, just in case! We also recommend trying to search by the specific email and/or subject line (listed above). If you’re still unable to find your reset password email, contact our support team using the contact information above to request a new one.

I'm not receiving my own emails through my new Google Workspace account.

Most inboxes assume email addresses with no send history are spam, so check your spam/junk folder if you're not receiving your own test emails. This issue typically resolves itself after a few days.
