Most states require regular renewal to keep your LLC in good standing. The renewal due dates, frequency, and fees vary state by state.
You can find specific renewal timelines by state here.
How do I renew my LLC?
Many PRIME LLCs are on autopay for renewal, meaning we'll take care of it for you... no need to set a calendar alert! In this case, we will email you prior to your charge date to ensure you are prepared. We'll let you know what your renewal charge amount will be at that time.
If you are not on autopay for renewal, we will email you several weeks before your renewal due date with a link to process your renewal. You will receive several email reminders leading up to your LLCs expiration date to ensure you don't forget.
PRIME can help with that!
If you're not sure whether or not your account is on autopay, or you'd like to sign up for autopay, contact our billing department.

Select option 1 for “existing clients,” then 1 for “billing and payment related questions.”
What happens if I don't renew my LLC?
Failure to renew before the deadline may result in automatic dissolution of your LLC. This would mean you need to reinstate your LLC in order to bring it back into good standing with the state. Reinstatement fees are typically much higher than renewal fees, so it's best to avoid this.
Can I renew my LLC on my own?
You can technically file your own renewal paperwork directly with the Secretary of State. However, keep in mind that this eliminates the anonymity afforded to you by having PRIME listed as the organizer as you will have to sign your own name.
